When my wife sees these entries her first question is going to be…”O.K., so what is it you want?”
I’ve written before on the therapeutic value of nostalgic pursuits focusing primarily on the psychological benefits. But there are some pursuits that have great practical value….weaving for example. My wife took up weaving about five years ago, and in keeping with the family tendency of “if a little is good, a lot is better”, threw herself into the craft with her usual passion and perfectionism. This is her latest creation, a large blanket/throw given as a wedding gift to the daughter of one of our oldest and closest friends.
