This is the end of my third week of shaving one-week-at-a-time with the same kit and I must admit….its boring as Hell! I really miss the fun of wondering and planning what products I would use the next day…..Valobra soft soap with Proraso Red cream? Or maybe Mitchell’s Woof Fat soap with Musgo Real cream? On the other hand, there is a lot to be said for shaving with the same razor and blade-brand for extended periods. I never really enjoyed changing razors and blades each day, and I found that my technique improved dramatically once I had settled down to one razor and a couple of preferred blades. But the “aromatics” is a different story! After three weeks I found that there was little gained by using the same products for a full week…and a lot was missed – namely the sensual pleasure that comes from variety. So, starting today I’m, baaaccckkk!

Now what the heck am I going to use later today? Hmmm…Mitchell’s Wool Fat soap sounds good. But mated to which cream? And the brush? Oy………
