Other shavers must be discovering the GEM G-Bar; I’ve noticed prices on eBay rising into the $20′s on some occasions, but most importantly, Giovanni at Barbiera Italiana (www.tryphon.it) now carries 5 versions of the blades! I’ve just ordered a couple of packs of each to compare with the original Blue Star, which I can’t even imagine being any better, so I’m looking forward to trying them out.
The Gem G-Bar is really a razor for when you have lots of time to shave – the one thing I can say for sure is that you don’t rush a G-Bar shave – unless you want to wind up in the E.R.
