Fourth shave with Classicshaving’s “Godzilla” razor and a Feather Pro-Guard blade (second use with this particular blade). I used Cyril R. Salter’s Vetiver on a Plisson brush (inspired by Leisureguy’s shave earlier today). Rough. The blade not as smooth as last time with two or three small nicks resulting and a burning alum block pass. The end result pretty good but a lot more pain for no gain (vs. my E.J Chatsworth and a good DE blade). I’m coming to the conclusion that this razor’s head is just too damned wide, making manoeuverability more of a challenge and the likelihood of nicks far greater. I’m going to take one more shave with this razor before my final feedback.
