Heart wrenching movie. I wonder if there’s any way to help people directly around the world without having to go through intermediary agencies that syphon money away from those who need it more than executives with fancy offices.

Here’s an idea (not my own). Establish a food budget. Every month try to eat below that budget. Give the difference to one of the agencies with strong records of program funding, e.g. World Vision, Plan Intl., Kiva, etc.
