My wife and I were avid sailors up until about five years ago when we sold our boat due to low water levels in our lake. My wife is still drawn to the allure of sailing and we may one day sail in the Caribbean when we retire. Friends who know of her passion for sailing have been buying her a spectacular calendar every year, featuring some amazing images.
My son noticed one peculiar sailing picture today, which featured a boat flying through the air. “What the Hell is this he asked”. The caption stated: Moth sailing. So I looked it up and wow! Take a look at this video. Apparently, Moth sailing was invented in the late 1920′s.

Cool ,but windsurfing is so much cooler . Purist form of sailing there is .No lines and pulleys to sheet in . Just your board , sail and you between the two .
Also faster !!!!
