My wife is a very talented artist. While her talents these days are focused primarily on textile arts such as weaving and felting, it seems that her eye transcends any medium that she touches. The antithesis of flamboyant, she works quietly, unassumingly under the radar, yet produces beautiful stuff no matter what she touches.

Case in point, this “simple” image of a tractor in a lavender field. We both looked at the same thing, yet I failed to see it. I with my fancy-shmantzy GF1, her with her little Lumix point-and shoot.

Just for fun, I thought I’d have a look how it would be in B&W, using Silver FX. Not bad.
