I was toying with the idea of a Briard puppy for Christmas, after our terrible experience with Byzou. Researching on the internet, I found a breeder in BC with one last puppy around 6 weeks old. He’s show quality, from two prize-winning parents and great lineage. The breeder is also a trainer of stunt dogs for the film industry. Unfortunately, one of her pre-conditions is that he must be left intact and available to her for both show and breeding. His price is also staggering. Too much trouble and cost for what we want, so we passed. She emailed this hilarious picture. Of course, he’ll probably be around 90 lbs when he grows up so his “costume” period is likely limited. Notice that his ears have already been clipped and glued for the characteristic Briard look.
