One thing I like about the new digital age of photography is that old images never disappear into some dusty archive. They are always there in your photo folder waiting to be rediscovered as you cruise your files looking for something else. A case in point: The image below was taken some ten years ago with my old Leica M3. The external meter wasn’t working well in the cold and I was struggling to get a good exposure in the bright conditions of sun and ice.

Eventually, the roll of film was scanned and the images filed away in the appropriate folder. Yesterday I was looking for another photo from that day and happened upon this one that I had completely ignored. I like it. Maybe you will too.
