My Razorpit free sample arrived today, courtesy of the company that markets them. I’ve been asked to do an evaluation and report back on this blog. Trouble is, I’m not a fan of cartridge razors so I offered to let my son try it out; he’s budget conscious and has a very tough beard. Imagine my excitement then when I read on the package that it can be used to sharpen DE blades as well. It’s not clear to me how this would be done, so I’ve asked my contact to give me some guidance.
Of course, the guy in the next video has found an interesting way to do the same thing at no cost!!! Not sure I want to do this with a DE blade though.

All that fussing around with a squeegee in your shower is cumbersome and time consuming. What works best is the trick you taught me . Simply wipe the mirror with some soapy water and it’ll stay clear for your shave.
I have a video too! 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyxBfGcHDbM
Excellent, as usual. I’m going to focus my “test” on DE blades. I usually get three shaves per blade, and I’m going to treat the DE the same way as a cartridge razor, except that I will flip the blade over and clean both sides.
