My response to Mr. Dario:
I think the writer expresses a consensus view among reasonable people, who drive, cycle, and walk. The unreasonable are those who only do one or two of those. Walking a mile in the other guy’s shoes certainly provides compassion…even though you may wind up with strangely stinky feet!
