Hyman Weisbord started his company, Smoke Fine Foods, three years ago and I was a very early supporter. Unlike many specialty products that one may try once and then never buy again, Smoke products are in constant supply in our pantry, especially the smoked black pepper, smoked salt, and smoked paprika. My wife, who has a very sensitive palate (a true “supertaster” who can detect even the most subtle flavours in a meal) and hates anything over-spiced, grinds huge wallops of Smoke black pepper on her food.
